How To Make Irresistible Ads.

Great Ads Are Not Out Of Reach.

Are you running ads with mediocre results? Trust me, I get it. We both know the frustration is astronomical. It feels like you're just throwing your money away. No matter how much you may have NO ONE likes doing that. Although that IS exactly what you're doing if your ads simply are not irresistible.

I'm sure you’re thinking to yourself “Marketing isn't what I do, making creative content is not really what I’m good at. I just want to run my business”. If you’re having a similar feeling to this, let me tell you it's not as out of reach as you may think.

Throwing more money at an ad is not the solution...

If you think you just need to target a wider audience by increasing your ad budget, that may be a mistake. You can sell the best product in the world but if you aren’t catching people’s attention then it doesn't really matter how many people you’re showing the ad to.

You don't have to learn the hard way.

Unfortunately for me, I’ve done that part for you so learn from my mistakes. I can tell you that I certainly did. This can work IF you have the right ad, but making the right ad is why you’re here. I’ll tell you exactly what you need to do.

Start at the top.

The first thing you should do is focus on your ideal customer problem.

Start with the basics.

For example, if you’re running a dental office, talk about the benefits of healthy teeth. Be creative. Use a video or pictures of a couple with beautiful smiles, or a before and after carousel. Put yourself in their shoes and think about what's likely to catch their attention. Stress their pain points, mention the most common problems. Your headline needs to get them to stop scrolling and be interesting enough to keep reading.

If you manage to get their attention and they believe you can solve their problem, then your conversion rate will blossom.

Make it easy to say yes.

The most underrated part of any irresistible ad is having your audience to do what you want them to do. Your ad needs to have a low threshold. In other words, whatever you need them to do make it easy for them to say yes to your ad.

Let’s say you’re asking a girl out because you think she’s pretty and the first thing you do is say “I saw you from across the street and I think you're beautiful so are you free next Tuesday? Because I think we should get married. That’ll give you plenty of time to pick your dress and I’ll see you at the altar”. Is that something anyone would say yes to? He certainly makes it hard for her to say yes even if she does like him. I think we can all agree that's not how anyone should go about this. Don't be the marketing version of this guy.

You make small talk and gauge interest. Slowly but surely work your way up by asking her easy (low threshold) questions like her phone number or meeting for lunch so it's a lot easier to get a yes.

It works the same way with your ads. You don't want them to join a 30 minute zoom call or answer some long questionnaire the first time they visit your ad especially when they don’t know you. Besides, that's a large time commitment and people are busy. It's hard to get people to spend that amount of time on something they could be unsure about, just lower the bar a little.

The best way to go about it is inserting a couple minute video they can watch, have an opt-in through an email or a form, or even something as simple as call or text me if you’re interested. These are all great examples of low threshold options to make it more likely people will say yes to your ad.

What to do now...

You can feel free to try this yourself and see how this can work for you. This process may be a little more time consuming than you may think. 89% of Meta ads fail. Without implementing the right strategy it’s very tough to succeed.

You can hire a big company to do it for you, though they’ll likely use a generic ad that’s AI made. It’s clear when you're talking to a robot and not a person right? You’ll be able to see the same thing if AI built an ad for you. Getting in touch with a person let alone THE person making your ads could also be next to impossible.
